Mario is the lead vocalist of GRUPO INOLVIDABLE, from Corpus Christi, Tx. He's been singing for about 11 years. He started singing after he won a competition which allowed him to play on
stage with Albert Zamora. He recalls struggling while on stage as he was playing the polka with Mr Zamora, Mr Zamora was asking him questions, he was still really green so he couldn't speak while he was playing. Albert Zamora was asking him what's his name, Where are you from? And he could not answer!...Well now,
He and the band are in the process of recording at the moment but they have a single out on some radio stations, its called Popurri. It's old school jams back to back and some progressive conjunto style music. Mario likes to writes music and they are currently in the studio laying down some tracks and hope to be done soon!
Mario states.... "the Tejano radio stations are Great. Not too places outside of Texas have Tejano radio stations. It's a good tool for our people to hear the music that they love. Especially those overseas fighting for our country. Its been pretty good for us we have been playing around the Corpus Christi area and now we are on the radio".... and the year isn't over yet".
Mario would like to thank all of the TEJANO radio listeners and the online radio stations as well and ALL THE people supporting GRUPO INOLVIDABLE and all TEJANO music in the U.S.!
Mario's single is now also on fm and online radio around the U.S. in CA, AZ, WA state, OHIO and up in Chicago, IL and all tha way down to MX in Monterrey, San Nicolas and San Luis Potosi, MX and we Congratulation him and his great group of guys and know they will continue working hard to bring us ALL that GREAT TEAJNO music!
